Although we did not see Ariel this week, we sure did sing her song A LOT! We talked about lots of under the sea creatures and saw lots of examples of what we would see if we were under the sea water. For art, we painted with sea sponges and made our own versions of a clown fish. Our language activities consisted of letter identification with some water colored gems and writing practice. We wrote words like: sea, fish, sharks and coral. Our sensory table was full of water and fish! The science table was all about sea animals frozen in ice and we got to save them! Our field trips were to Bolhken Park and Lakewood Park. We did so much walking and playing! We also got to join the Summer School Age group for a morning of rock wall climbing. We are ending our week with a visit from H2O (Help to Others). They come to read to us, play with us and show us how we work together nicely in the community. We love our special time with these older boys and girls. Here’s hoping the weather stays nice just like it was all this week for the rest of the summer.
