This week in the infant classroom the theme is Winter! We have explored and talked about quite a bit this week but here are some of our favorites! The entire group enjoyed exploring winter clothes such as hats scarves and mittens! We explored as we looked at our reflections in the play yard mirror. We also practiced gentle touches as we shared the smaller space of the play yard and its mirror. The older infants enjoyed dropping cotton balls inside empty juice bottles with snowmen faces drawn on the outside. Teachers would even imitate dropping the cotton balls inside the juice bottle, while counting them one by one. The group also enjoyed finger painting snowy scenes on blue paper with white paint! It has been a wonderful week in the infant classroom, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time.
