We have been so busy with dinosaurs! We reviewed what we know (which is a lot!) and we even learned some new facts about dinosaurs too!
One of our favorite activities was to do virtual tours of museums to look at dinosaurs in different museums around the world. Looking at the bones and comparing their sizes to people really puts a perspective on how big a dinosaur could have been. Some art activities have been creating our own dinosaurs and dino eggs. We also made a dinosaur and added “bones” to it. Some math activities have centered around patterning dinosaurs and sorting them by sizes or if they were a land dinosaur, an air dinosaur or if they swam in the water. Our science table has been working with tools. We had to break out dinosaurs from the ice! We talked about how we are paleontologists when we dig up dinosaurs! We practiced our writing skills with writing long dinosaur names and telling all the letters we see. We started the week off with some really cold weather, but we got lucky enough that it warmed up for us to get outside! This class loves to move and run and we need that outdoor time each day, a couple times a day.
