This week in Preschool, we talked about outer space. We learned that astronauts fly in rockets to the moon and fly back to land in a helicopter. We enjoyed reading “Aliens Need Snacks Too.” For art, we created Twinkle Little Star Wands and painted Sun catchers and made alien headbands. In math, we sorted planets by size and created space ships using shapes. In language, we matched beginnings sounds to their matching rockets. We also learned that we live on the planet Earth and about the other 7 planets in the Universe. We also made snow angels in the snow.
