It’s all about ME! Just kidding but it was all about our pre-k friends this week during All About Me week. This week we took the time to learn more about our friends and their families. Throughout the week we went over our friend’s family trees that were sent home the week before. It was fun learning about each family. We also quizzed each other on who remembered if our friends have siblings or not. When we were not learning about our friends, we were working in the classroom. This week at the language table the children worked on a questionnaire, writing their friend’s names and telling us what they like about themselves. At the math table this week the children worked on number recognition activities, ten frames and measuring. The children became creative at the art table by stamping with their fingerprints, creating a self-portrait and painting with water colors. The children worked with magnetic wands at the science table by figuring out which objects were magnetic and which were not. Well another fun filled week has come and gone but don’t worry there will be more fun next week! Stay tuned! We hope that you all have a fun and safe holiday weekend.
