Boy! Look at the weather outside. This week has been a fun week of weather and boy did we have different types this week. Each morning when we came in from outside, during calendar we would discuss what the weather was like. We started out the week with sunny and somewhat warm and then eventually as we went through the week, it got colder and even snowed! This week we learned about tornadoes…even created our own at the science table with some water in a tube and what the water cycle. This week at the math table we worked on number recognition activities and measuring how many rain drops tall we are. At the language table we worked on letter recognition and writing different weather words. We created some fun art this week. Some of the art included water drop rain, sun out of a plate and water color rainbows. We worked on our letter of the week which was the letter Kk. Thursday was a fun day because we had our feast! We were able to sit down with the other classrooms in the center and have a delicious feast with turkey, potatoes, corn, stuffing, applesauce and bread! We hope that the children enjoyed this week as much as we did! There will be more fun next! Let’s Go Browns!
