Lakewood Child Care Center

This week’s theme was Bugs and Insects! In language and literacy we played with alphabet magnets, stamped bingo dabbers onto ladybugs, and traced tape letters with slug toys. In math, we matched bug blocks, counted pipe cleaner antennas, sorted insects, and matched shaped snails. In motor, we did bug yoga poses, threaded sensory balls, did an insect race, and connected bug and insect puzzles. In art, we made plastic spoon bugs, used stamp rollers to make worms and flowers, and stamped bubble wrap onto paper to make a beehive. Tomorrow, we will sort worm blocks, do a bug/insect scavenger hunt, and have Music Friday!
