We introduced the theme with pictures, print, songs and books. We practiced colors by naming the color eggs on the word wall board or pointing to the color when asked.

Math
Various math activities related to Easter and numbers, counting, making patterns and size were provided all week to practice. The following activities were provided; easter basket and egg counting placing each egg inside the basket and counting, jelly bean color matching on egg grid with same colors, made Easter cupcakes- pour measure, pour and mix and easter eggs on sticks to name colors while pressing down into foam blocks.
Motor Development
Plastic colors eggs to open and close snapping together, Easter Rubik cubes for twisting and turning, plastic carrots, tongs and buckets to practice squeezing and opening tongs, egg boards with markers and obstacle course and bunny hop in great room
