Monday- Fork stamping on paper with paint
Tuesday-Twig painting on paper with paint
Wednesday-Painted rocks for Garden at home
Thursday-Lady bug on plate with fingers
Friday-Sunflower- using a potato masher on paper with yellow paint
Math
Shape rings with sorting trays to sort by color or shape placing them in separate sorting tray, veggie and fruit colored counters with corn kabob trays and tongs for sorting by fruit or color using tongs number caterpillar circles to practice naming numbers recognized, count and learn new numbers.
Fine Motor
We practiced stringing cheerios on pipe cleaners to make a caterpillar, Tree bark rubbing with paper and crayons to rub and make impressions, Fairy houses using boxes and sticks to poke through with leaves, whisking bubbles with bowls, whisk, water and soap- the children whisked their water to form bubbles in their bowl. These activities allow and provide children the opportunity to build and strengthen their fine motor skills, eye- hand coordination .
