We introduced the theme with different pictures of farm animals and print, songs, books and short 1-2 min videos about farms, and how to milk a cow.

Monday- Painted on paper with red paint and added craft sticks to make a farm
Wednesday-Sheep- painted with koosh rings and white paint on black paper
Thursday- stamped with baby chick foot stamps on white paper and yellow and orange paint
Friday- Finger painting with brown paint on pink paper
Math
Colored small farm animal counters with pink pig containers with small scoops to organize by color or same animal, number magnets with cookie sheets to practice counting and number recognition, number wooden blocks and various size colored blocks to build, make patterns, name numbers, learn new numbers and work together with peers, and colored math tiles for lining up, organizing by color and/or create a structure.
Motor Development
Farm animal paper with scissors to practice finger/hand grasp, eye-hand coordination, various size pool noodles and string for lacing, colored eggs and egg cartons for opening and closing, filling up carton sorter, farm animal memory matching,

Milking a cow- we pretended to milk a cow by filling a glove with milk and squeezing the fingers to watch the milk come out into the bucket- we also watched a short video on how to milk a cow.
