We introduced the theme with books, songs, short videos of Leprechaun traps, named various things like; coins, rainbows, jig, bag pipes, river dance dancers, shamrocks, pot of gold, glitter, Leprechauns.

Monday- Marble painting with green paint on shamrock
Tuesday- Pot of Gold- glued gold coins on paper pot
Wednesday- Rainbow shamrock collage
Thursday- Leprechaun Hats- glued shamrocks and pots
Friday- Shamrock stamping with cookie cutters
Math
Green, white and orange pom-poms with scoops and green bowls to practice counting one by one, pipe cleaners with leprechaun hats to weave in and out, counting coins with black draw string bags and small black pots, gems and green baskets for counting aloud and with teachers and peers.
Motor Development
Green Q-tips and shamrock picks with foam blocks to strengthen fingers and hands and eye-hand coordination, roll the coins down the ramp to practice balance and eye-hand coordination green play-dough with coins to press onto play-dogh to make shamrock impressions, gems and green egg baskets to practice dumping from one egg to another without dropping. Shamrock tracing/coloring with green/orange markers
