Come one, come all to the greatest show on Earth….The Circus!! This week was all about the Circus and the children have been working hard and preparing to put on the greatest show at LCCC. This week the children watched videos of different acts that perform in the circus from elephants to acrobats to tight rope walkers. At the language table this week, the children worked on letter recognition, played some BINGO, wrote some circus words and worked on beginning sounds. At the math table, the children worked on sorting, making patterns and number recognition activities. At art, the children painted with balloons, made a hand print elephant and their very own popcorn using cotton balls! We read many exciting books about the circus as well. Each day the children have been practicing hard to put on the show for you! We will end this amazing week with music class and of course our circus!! We hope the children enjoyed watching and learning about the amazing acts of the circus. We hope you all have an amazing and wonderful weekend!
