We introduced the theme with songs, a farm banner, books, short 1-2 minute videos of tractors on a farm and how to milk a cow.

Monday- Barn- The children glued various colored craft sticks on red paper to resemble a barn

Thursday-Baby Chick- stamp with forks, yellow paint, and add feathers and eyes
Friday- Pig mud stamping- stamp with pigs, brown paint and pink paper

Math
Early math learning builds a strong brain foundation for toddlers. It improves later academic success by teaching essential life and logic skills. Toddlers learn best through hands on experiences. The following activities are some main benefits: counting with farm animal counters by placing in pig containers one by one, number magnets and magnet boards to practice number recognition, counting and pairing, number wooden blocks to stack, build and count as they build and colored math tiles to make patterns, count and organize by colors.
Motor Development
Motor learning boots a toddlers brainpower, independence, and social skills. As children learn to run, climb, or use manipulatives, they build brain pathways. These physical actions help them solve problems, make friends, and do daily tasks all by themselves. Farm animal paper with scissors, pool noodles for stacking and balancing, colored eggs with sorters, lacing farm animal boards and shoe strings, and farm animal memory matching game.
