We also read a book of two children who worked on their family farm and I explained to the children that you can’t have a tablet or watch TV. until all farm chores such as feeding the animals were done. Many of our friends said that they would not be okay living on a farm. We worked on many different language activities this week such as letter recognition, writing and BINGO! At the math table, the children worked on number recognition and measuring. The children became creative at the art table making a tissue paper rip art pig, a tractor out of construction paper, drew their own farm and created a sheep and chick. We had two fun field trips this week, the Botanical Gardens where the children were able to feel and smell some of the wonderful plants there. We also made our way to the Zoo to see all the fun animals! The children enjoyed their swim day as well and we made a fruit salad…yummy! We will end our week with the famous milk the cow experiment. We hope the children had fun with farm week and o
