Monday-X-mas tree- Stamped with q-tips on tree pattern to resemble lights
Tuesday- Swimming
Wednesday-Santa- glued hat, beard and eyes
Thursday- Marble painted with bells
Friday-Ornament- decorate paper plate with paint and glitter
Math
Counting ice cube with green and red pails, String the number candy canes while counting aloud and naming the numbers they know ,Santa memory card matching- find 2 identical cards, and math colored tiles to make patterns and measure by size and group by color/texture.
Motor Development
Button and small jar with lids to practice twisting to open and close, mini mitten purses with coins to practice twisting the clutch, bell stringing with pipe cleaners to weave in and out practicing grip and eye hand coordination , and x-mas lacing cards with shoe strings to challenge manipulation and strengthen grip.
Sensory Table
Noodles, green gift bags, measuring scoops, green and pink palm trees and flamingos
The children will decorate x-mas cookies on Friday with Ms. Brenda in the am
