This week in the infant classroom the theme is Colors and Shapes! Here are a few of our favorite activities from the week.
The older infants loved practicing taking steps on top of taped shapes on the ground with small push carts, gluing different shapes onto bright yellow paper and clapping for If you’re happy and you know it.
The entire group loved building and knocking down large colorful blocks in different shapes and sizes! It was fun to sort the blocks as well by color with teachers. We also explored with bubbles, busy boxes and sensory books where teachers pointed out familiar shapes and objects.
It has been a great week in the infant classroom but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time
