It has been a week all about Earth Day and recycling and we have had so much fun with our activities.  Our smallest babies enjoyed black and white books, peek-a-boo, holding scarves, practicing holding and shaking toys all while listening to songs with their older baby friends.  Developmentally they have been holding toys and clapping them together, crawling, furniture walking, and rolling over. The older children have played with peg boards, explored our lacing toys, watched fish swim in an electric aquarium, chalked on chalkboards and felt pretend flowers while we talked about its characteristics.  Music mats have been stomped on and balls have been rolled back and forth between friends and teachers.  It has been such a fun week of discovery and exploring and next week promises to bring so much more!
