This week the children explored all things gardening. In language the children matched lettered flower petals to a flower. Wednesday in art the children painted with loofahs and in math they used a die to determine how many flowers to add to the flower pot. In language the children matched lettered flowers to the lettered flower pot. Today in art the children painted with fly swatters and in math they sorted animal counters by color. Tomorrow in art the children will draw a garden and in math they will trace numbers on flowers. In language the children will dictate what you need for a garden. In the sensory table this week the children explored water with watering cans, cups and funnels.
