This week in the infant classroom, the theme is America the Beautiful. The infants enjoyed it quite a bit but here are our favorite moments from the week. The older infants enjoyed talking about fireworks as we turned the lights out and used flashlights to shine on the walls! Another activity that the older infants enjoyed was using jumbo sponge brushes to make “fireworks” on paper with red paint. The infant room added a bird feeder to our back patio area, and we have had quite a bit of activity from birds and chipmunks! The entire group enjoyed exploring large squish blocks and plush fruits and vegetables as we explored the classroom floor together. It has been a fun and fast week, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday. Until next time!
