Lakewood Child Care Center

This week in the infant classroom the theme is sports. We have explored quite a bit but here are a few of our crowd favorites. The older infants enjoyed standing next to the window facing our patio and watching birds and squirrels eat from our bird feeder! We even saw a large blue jay! Another fun activity from this week, was tossing balls into a laundry basket, then dumping them back out! The smaller infants enjoyed reaching for tennis balls and trying to move forward to retrieve them. The group also tried lacing toys together and taking stacking rings on and off a stacking stick! We also matched lids to containers and tried reaching inside them to take toys out. It has been a fun week in the infant room, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
