This week in the infant classroom we explored the theme friends! We have explored quite a bit but here are a few of our favorite moments from the week. The younger infants loved watching the older children have their class picnics. We talked about the familiar faces we saw and practiced waving. We also pointed to the familiar foods at the friend’s picnic, like watermelon and hot dogs! The infants also enjoyed taking turns rolling balls one on one to friends in the play yard! We explored making music together in small groups by banging on empty coffee cans and sharing and shaking different triangle shakers! We also explored mini drop boxes and rings, the bubble machine and making the younger infants smile with our sounds! We enjoyed talking about Friends this week but we look forward to a new theme Monday! Until next time!
