It’s All About Me! That’s right, this week we dove a little deeper to get to know our friends more during this week. This week, the children brought back their family trees where we learned a little bit about each friend and where their family comes from. Let’s face it, knowing where we come from is part of us so it was a fun activity to learn that some of our friends are Polish, Irish, German, Scottish, and Indian just to name a few! This week we learned about everyone’s favorite foods from mac-n-cheese to oranges to even bacon!! I mean who doesn’t like bacon. We also learned that some friends have dogs, some have cats, and some even have lizards! We also took a step back to learn about our bodies such as muscles, nerves, and bones…did you know we have 206 bones in our body? Well, now you do 🙂 The children also worked on number recognition and making patterns at math and letter recognition activities at the language table. We hope the children had as much fun as we did learning more about each other…there is more fun to have next week. We hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday!
