This week in the infant classroom the theme is Nursery Rhymes! It has been a wonderful week but here are some of our crowd favorites. First, the entire group got to try mixing shaving cream and food coloring inside individual baggies with friends and teachers. We used clear contact paper to put them on the windows so we can talk about their colors and what we think of the feeling of the bag! Another crowd favorite was exploring pom poms frozen in ice cubes and exploring them in baggies. The group also enjoyed telling stories and singing songs using animal puppets! It was fun to try to make the sounds of familiar animals that we came across in the puppets too! It’s been a great week in the infant room but we look forward to a new theme on Monday!
