This week in the infant classroom the theme is Numbers! We have explored quite a bit but here a few of our favorite activities from the week. The older infants loved counting mini rings as we took them in and out of mini drop boxes. The younger infants tried holding onto the mini rings during tummy time and while they practiced standing with teachers support. The older infants also practiced holding the handle of the pounding benches and trying to knock the shaped blocks through their holes! It was fun to also count the blocks and talk about their different shapes and colors as they fell through the holes of the benches! The infants also enjoyed practicing holding handled stampers with numbers  on them as we practiced standing at the table and moving them up and down! It has been a wonderful week in the infant classroom, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
