This week in the infant classroom the theme is Dinosaurs! We have had a wonderful week in the infant room but here are a few of our crowd favorites from activities this week! The entire group enjoyed using stacking rings in their own way. The younger children enjoyed taking jumbo rings off the stacker and finding others on the floor to knock against the other, where the older children were happy to practice dropping the smaller rings onto the stackers, or talking about the colors of the rings with teachers as we sorted or counted them! The entire group enjoyed listening to “We are the Dinosaurs!” on the iPad as we practiced marching small plastic dinosaurs. We also enjoyed scribbling the jumbo crayons on big scraps of different colored paper, and reading different picture books about all different types of animals including Dinosaurs, Sea animals and Jungle animals. It has been a wonderful week in the infant classroom, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
