Tuesday Swimming
Wednesday- Snow flake Wreath- glued snowflakes, sprinkled glitter and add a bow
Thursday- Bell marble painting with red paint/green paper
Friday- decorate x-mas cookies
Math
The children practiced matching 2 or more Santa memory cards by trying to find 2 of the same pictures, string the number cany canes on the line and say or repeat number and count the canes, holiday pictures with containers with slits to drop and count one at a time, and number math tiles for counting and pointing out numbers and naming numbers children know.
Motor Development
Holiday mail boxes with envelopes to practice opening and closing mailbox, manipulate paper inside box to fit and clos, we practiced stringing with pipe cleaners and bells to help strengthen fingers/hands and manipulate bell and cleaner at the same time, glitter colored pipe cleaners to poke inside the holes by pushing them inside and x-mas/holiday lacing cards with shoe strings
Sensory table
Cotton balls, red/green holiday balls, clear ice cubes, holiday pails and tongs
