This week was so fun! We heard so many stories about a variety of super heroes! We learned a lot about different super heroes and their superpowers! For art, we worked on our own capes all week! We became super heroes ourselves! We also made a “town” with us “saving the world” from all the villains! For some math, we had a path game to get the super hero to the safe space. We also built a city with blocks according to the number on the address. We used our small muscles as we gripped tongs to pick up the small blocks and placed them on top of each other. For some language activities, we did some writing practice as we wrote words like “zip”, “zap”, “bam” and “pow” (true super hero words!). The sensory bin was filled with shredded paper and 20 different super heroes! We had fun burying them, hiding them from peers and making them “fly” up out of the rubble to save the world! The science table was busy with gears. We added more super heroes to the mix so friends could “move” the guys and girls around as they experimented with movement and how gears work and fit together. We had LOADS of outside time and the rain missed us this week!
